Driving around Bayeux
The Bayeux Tapestry is indicated all over the town, and near the museum, with two types of signpost: one for pedestrians and another for cars, easy to identify with their distinctive logos.
There are numerous car parks in different parts of the town.
The "Parc Michel d'Ornano" is the best car park for getting to the museum. It has about a hundred spaces and is free. There are plenty of public toilets and a picnic area.
For touring companies, thirty spaces are reserved for coaches with an area for washing and oil changing, and a space for drivers to relax.
